Technically speaking, there are no set rules against my looking into his thoughts, beyond whether or not he is capable of either shielding against psychic intrusion or trained to recognize such.

[In which case, if Charles made the attempt and Khan picked up what he was attempting to do, well ... they wouldn't really lose anything, it would mean Charles was useless against him anyway.]

I suppose it wouldn't lose us anything, were I to try?
